Core Design:
Built with Storm’s Element Max A.I. asymmetrical core, the Ion Max is designed to create strong torque, flare, and control on heavier oil patterns. The added weighted disk extends mass along the X-axis, giving the Ion Max significantly more flare potential and a stronger overall motion than the Ion Pro.

Coverstock:
Features Storm’s NRG Solid Reactive coverstock, designed to create strong oil absorption and dependable traction through heavier volumes of oil. This cover helps the Ion Max read the lane strongly while maintaining a consistent and controllable reaction.

Finish:
Finished with 2000-grit Abralon to help the ball read the lane early and create strong traction through the front and middle part of the lane.

Versatility:
Best suited for medium-heavy to heavy oil conditions. The Storm Ion Max is a strong asymmetric solid option for bowlers who need traction, flare potential, control, and continuation when facing fresh oil or higher-volume lane conditions.
