Hook It Up Pro Shop is founded by Larry Darvas — a competitive bowler with over 30 years on the lanes and a passion for helping fellow bowlers get the most out of their equipment.

Larry didn't start Hook It Up because he saw a business opportunity. He started it because bowling is in his blood. After more than three decades competing at the highest local levels, he developed an obsession with the details that separate good bowlers from great ones — ball selection, drilling layouts, coverstock prep, and the small adjustments that make a big difference on the lanes.
A few years ago, Larry started drilling balls for friends at his home pro shop. Word spread. More bowlers came. The shop grew. What started as a passion project built with his own two hands is now a full-service pro shop — and thanks to Hook It Up's online store, bowlers everywhere can access the same level of expertise and equipment.
